- What is PrepPortal?
- PrepPortal is a study app for Indian exam preparation. It gives you chapter-wise multiple-choice practice, structured revision notes for each chapter, a doubt board where students answer each other's questions, a daily streak, and progress tracking that shows which chapters you keep getting wrong.
- Which exams does PrepPortal cover?
- CA Foundation is live in the app today. Five more are being built: Class 10 GSEB, Class 12 GSEB (Science), Class 12 GSEB (Commerce), JEE Main & Advanced, and NEET UG. Each of those has a page on this site describing what is planned, and you can leave your email there to hear when it opens.
- Is PrepPortal free?
- Yes — the CA Foundation course is free to use today. There is nothing to buy in the app and no price list to publish. If that ever changes we will say so here first, well before it does.
- When do the other exams launch?
- We have not committed to dates, and we would rather not invent one. Each course is finished properly before it opens rather than shipped half-built, which is why CA Foundation is the only one live. Leave your email on that exam's page and we will write to you the day it opens.
- Do I need an account?
- Yes. You sign in with Google, which is what keeps your attempts, streak and progress attached to you across sessions and devices. We use your Google sign-in for identity only — name, email address and profile picture. There is no separate password to create.
- What is the doubt board?
- It is a question board inside the app, scoped to your exam. You post the thing you are stuck on, optionally with a photo, and other students answer. The answer that solved it can be marked as accepted, so it sits at the top for the next person with the same doubt.
- How does practice work?
- Questions are organised by chapter, and each carries the marks and negative marking its exam actually uses. You answer, you see what was right, and your attempt is recorded so your progress reflects real answers rather than a self-assessment.
- How do streaks work?
- Your streak counts consecutive days on which you practise. It is one number, it does not unlock anything, and it cannot be bought back — it is there because showing up daily is most of what passing these exams takes.
- What does personalised revision mean?
- Your attempt history says which chapters are solid and which ones keep coming back wrong. Revision leans on the second group. It is worked out from your own answers in the app — nothing else.
- Is PrepPortal on Android and iOS?
- PrepPortal is built as a mobile app. This site is the public information about the product, including the privacy policy, terms, and the form for requesting account deletion.
- How do I delete my account?
- You can delete your account from inside the app, or raise a deletion request on the delete-account page of this site if you have already uninstalled it. Either route removes your account and the study data attached to it. The delete-account page sets out exactly what is removed and how long it takes.
- Who is PrepPortal for?
- Students preparing for Indian exams who want the syllabus, practice on it, and somewhere to ask questions — without a feed, a leaderboard to farm, or a course to sit through before starting.
